The LTC1966 is a True RMS to DC converter that uses the innovative patented ΔΣ calculation technology. The LTC1966's internal incremental-to-accumulate (ΔΣ) circuit makes it simpler to use, and is more accurate, less powerful, and more flexible than traditional logarithmic anti-log RMS to DC converters. The LTC1966 accepts single-ended or differential input signals (to suppress EMI / RFI) and supports crest factors up to 4. Unlike previous RMS to DC converters, the LTC1966's excellent linearity enables easy system calibration at any input voltage.
